Creampot Toms’s Beard Balm // Redesign

Our balms still have the same nourishing ingredients as ever, rich in vitamin E, Jojoba and Shea butter just to name a few, but they have undergone some bold packaging transformations.    

Our old tins, although they will hold a dear place in our hearts were a bit if a pain. Having to hand sticker both sides of the tins was extremely time consuming and fiddley for our manufacturing team, so to Killing two birds with one stone the new tins were borne and the stickering became a distant memory. And we haven’t looked back since.

The new and distinctive octopus design was hand drawn by Jessica the Co-Founder, the elegant understated design has been adapted for the balms to create three slightly different octopi, giving the balms an extra bit of allure.  The Octopus can be found in three different positions on the tin all of which really capture the movement of octopi, the collection together really make a statement.

The tins are also great to re-use when all of the balm is finished, you can use them just as storage, turn them into candles or maybe even a mini snooker table for when you’re bored at work. Or as they are 100% recyclable you could just recycle them.

The design isn’t the only thing that’s new, the balms have now changed size. Instead of a 30ml and 60 ml it’s now 40ml and 80ml size. Bigger is better, right.

And if you haven’t heard, they’re now available in our base 6 scents: Mandarin and Cedarwood, Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood, Black Pepper and Grapefruit, Sandalwood, Elemi and Lavender, Lime and Basil and Jasmin and Lemon.
