The British Beard & Moustache Championships 2014

The past few weeks had seen us getting pretty hyped for TBBMC 2014, and the day finally came around last Saturday in Bath. Our first event at The Brighton Beard Company, we weren't really sure what to expect, other than it was going to be a cracker of a day, and that it was probably going to be one of the most hair-filled rooms in history.

It was a grand day! We arrived in Bath on the Friday evening (what a beautiful city!!) and starting setting up on Saturday morning... take a look at some photos of our stand that we created for the event - featuring Gullier our very own sailor seagull.

The championships saw the pre-launch of our t-shirts, which will be available online from around mid October, so keep an eye out for that one ;)

It was great to meet so many of you that we have become acquainted with online since we started last year, including Lea & Victoria from BILF, Jony Smith our beard comb extraordinaire, Graeme 'Foxy' Fowler & Victoria of Beard Revered, the guys from Flotsam & Jetsam and so many more! We also met a whole bunch of really sound guys, so thanks for coming to say hi and we'll definitely be seeing you at the next one in 2016!!

Here's some pictures of the day, our ones got blurry after around 4.30pm when we started knocking back the shots with the guys from Apothecary... so we borrowed some images from the talented Bertrand Vessier who documented the whole day!

Tim Silver, one of our models back from March!

Craig, our other bearded model // turned Brighton Beard Co brand ambassador, sporting one of our t-shirts... available online next month!

Winner Chris Rogers and runner up in the Natural Beard under 12" category, which we were sponsoring

Foxy & Jony getting fondled at the BILF stand!

We had tons of fun and it was all for a good cause, as the championships proceeds went to The Dorothy House hospice and Depression Alliance, two outstanding charities!!

Thanks for having us, The British Beard & Moustache Championships - see you in 2016 ;)
